The Visionaries cartoon series was produced by Sunbow Entertainment in 1987 and lasted only one series, consisting of 13 episodes. The series was shown on various television stations around the world as well as being released on video tape, in various forms. In the UK the videos were released by a company called Video Gems.
In 2004 the UK distribution company, Metrodome, released all 13 episodes in a dual dvd set (the only official DVD set released to date). This release proved more popular than Metrodome had expected and led to a revival in people's interests in the series.
This release allowed us the oportunity to watch this fantastic series again, as well as having the added bonus of featuring the orignal scripts for all 13 episodes. We have written an Episode Guide for every episode, as well as Notes and Information on Missing Scenes.
